The aged cat’s lip tucked under where there were no teeth. Her muscle was atrophying, because she could no longer romp and jump and swat due to her painful arthritic joints. Swallowing was becoming difficult because her thyroid wasn’t functioning properly, and the medication was losing its effectiveness.
Through all of this, her love for us never wavered. She’d find a lap, even though it took her a long time to make her way.
